Syndicated columnist and political commentator Robert Novak was cited by Metro police after hitting a pedestrian with his black Corvette in downtown Washington, DC, Wednesday morning.WJLA-TV reports that the collision happened about 10:07AM at 18th and K streets NW.
Novak spoke to ABC 7 News at the scene. He said he did not know he had struck anyone. He was stopped by a bicyclist who informed Novak he had hit a pedestrian, a male in his 60s, who was hospitalized at George Washington University Hospital with minor injuries according to the Metro Fire Department.
