The Brampton and Caledon Multiple Sclerosis Society chapter will be having their first ball and ice hockey event, We Shoot . . . We Score . . . A Cure For MS, at the South Fletchers Recreation Complex in Brampton July 5 and 6.
Toronto Maple Leaf goaltender Johnny Bower will be signing autographs at the event. He will also be selling his book "The China Wall", with $10 of each book sold will be donated to the MS Scociety. A number of other pro hockey players and recognizable pro athletes have also agreed to help the MS Society promote the event, as they have signed memorabilia that will be auctioned off July 5.
