The French Grand Prix has been included on the provisional Formula 1 calendar for 2009, which was released by the FIA on Wednesday.
The schedule for next season was unveiled in Paris, with 19 races – one more than this year – included.
The race in Abu Dhabi is the new addition for 2009 with the inaugural event given the honour of hosting the season-finale on November 15, with Brazil moved back to the penultimate round.
The British Grand Prix has been moved ahead of the French event to a June 21 date.
