Euro 2008: Each Podolski's Goal Cost Poland 11.6 million USD

Polish economy was hit by 50 million zloty (23.3 million dollars) after the Poles got defeated by Germany 0-2 - the Dziennik reported. The paper reported that the work productivity went down by one-fifth on Monday, the day after the Euro 2008 loss.

Psychologists and labour production experts estimated that each Polish football fan spent at least 15 minutes discussing Sunday's match, and the frustration of defeat lowered productivity by at least 10 per cent.

Each of Lukas Podolski's two goals, they claimed, cost Poland 25 million zloty (11.6 million USD.)

Another 2 games to go for the Poles in Euro 2008, I don know how many millions of dollars will be wasted.
