Over 140 German fans were arrested on Sunday in Klagenfurt for skouting Nazi slogans. The arrest was made before the Euro 2008 match Germany against Poland.
While no mass riots took place, but al large number of German visitors were taken into custody after engaging in minor scuffles and chanting Nazi slogans in the streets.
Klagenfurt police reported that around 8:30 pm(1830 GMT) about 140 German fans were surrounded and arrested by police following dangerous attacks and minor violations.
An AFP photographer claimed that he witnessed a group of around 60 men werer arrested when they were chanting "all Poles should have to wear yellow stars", in reference to the symbol Jews were forced to wear during the Nazi regime.
Germany beat Poland 2-0.
