Here is an EXCLUSIVE picture of the suspect...
A suspect is now in custody in the campus scare that shutdown the University of Richmond. The campus was shut down Tuesday afternoon while police searched for a man reportedly seen with a handgun. Witnesses said the man wore a fake beard and a dark-colored jacket with the word "sheriff" on the back.
He is 19-year-old Henrico resident, Seth Newman. Police confirm there is no connection between Newman and the University of Richmond.
He has been charged with one felony count for hiding his identity and two misdemeanor counts for impersonating a law enforcement officer, and for acting like a law enforcement officer.
Newman was taken into custody based on a tip and was being held on $10,000 bond. Police declined to say where he was apprehended or where he is currently being held.
