Kristine Lilly

Kristine Lilly was a girl who was a determined soccer player by the age of six. Kristine lived in New York City and there were no girls' soccer teams, so she joined the boys' team. When Kristine was 15 she was invited onto the U.S. Women's Under-19 National Team in 1991 when they won the World Cup. Lilly has played in more international games than any other man or women in soccer history. In 2005, she was named the U.S. Soccer Female Athlete for the second time in her life. She is the current captain of her team. With her Kristine Lilly Soccer Camp she encourages young girls to follow their dreams. As you can see, Kristine Lilly has a passion for soccer and really enjoys it.
