Abby Wambach

Abby Wambach joined her first soccer league when she was four years old. Then, in 1997, Abby was the National High School Player of the Year. Even though many colleges wanted Abby to play for them, she chose the University of Florida. She took her team to the National College Athletic Association Final Four tournament in 2001. Abby set a lot of records at the University of Florida, including most goals, most assists, and hat tricks. She also began playing for the U.S. Women's National Team in 2001.
