Best Of...8/29 Recap!

Chris Cornell appeared in-studio with Elliot and Diane on July 28th. He talked about everything from his previous band ventures to his Timbaland produced and highly anticipated third solo album.

Scream will be available in stores and online October 14th!

Magic: The Gathering rocks! So you can imagine how excited Flounder and Kyle were to take part in a bit for the National Magic the Gathering Championship at the Baltimore Convention Center back in August 2005...with a little help from Mercedes & Shea from Amazing Entertainment...

The girls wowed The Class with their naked "cooter shooters" before hopping in a car with Flounder and Kyle flashing people all the way up to Baltimore. Their mission? To show their boobies to the dorks with magic cards! As you can guess, security was called and Kyle and the ladies were told to leave...the girls flashed security on their way out. What happened to Flounder you ask? He was outside...warming up the car.

There once was a time when Dave Chappelle wasn't crazy...just high. In June 2000, while in DC to tape his HBO special, Killin' Them Softly at the Lincoln Theatre, he stopped by EITM to chat about everything from his early days to current events. He even predicted that Richard Hatch (a.k.a. The Gay Guy) from the first season of Survivor would win. Dave and Elliot smoked cigarettes while playing with a Master P doll and chatting it up with listeners. Hi Arlethia Chappelle!

Remember the sad story about a mother who had been battling schizophrenia and was charged with tossing her three sons into the San Francisco Bay? Elliot discussed the tragic story in October 2005, sparking several listeners to open up about their own battles with the disorder. Multiple Meredith, (a regular EITM caller) phoned in to give her two cents. She said she was functioning normally on medication and even had a steady boyfriend.

Elliot and Diane spoke with former DC101 PD Joe Bevilacqua twice this week. Since he lives in Denver, they thought they would check in with "Broadway Joe" to see if he was participating in any of the festivities the Democratic National Convention had to offer...

Their conversation from Fall 2006 was replayed for Best Of when they ridiculed him about his new name and critiqued his airchecks from his first week working in Denver.
