This morning Elliot wanted to play the new controversial song by Nas called "Be a Nigger Too"...Though several black callers gave Elliot full permission to play the song, he wanted to know Russ Parr's opinion. So during a break, Elliot went to get his number when he ran into Jeff Kapugi (DC101's acting PD) who asked him, "Are you willing to risk your job for playing this?". He eventually told Elliot that he couldn't play the song...
What a way to ruin a bit Kapugi!
Noting that the song may be offensive to some, Elliot still wanted people to make their own decision. Please leave your thoughts!!!
