Diane mentioned this book during Dirt, so naturally I checked it out...The title of the book is The Hit Charade: Lou Pearlman, Boy Bands, and the Biggest Ponzi Scheme in U.S. History. They should have the author Tyler Gray on the show. He's also the senior editor of Blender magazine.
The book chronicles Lou Pearlman's rise and fall. From his creation of the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, to details of his alleged "inappropriate" behavior with young aspiring stars. Not to mention his involvement in pyramid and Ponzi-type schemes. Definitely an interesting read!
Hopefully Elliot will invite him on the show...
