We already knew "Booger" was a popular nickname since Kapugi apparently prefers not to have his real name said on air, or at least on EITM...Hello Bryan Schlossberg!
The other nicknames: Jeff, a no-brainer, just his first name. Bossaholic, because he's their boss and is a workaholic? Lastly, Four Eyes, because using second grade terminology for people who wear glasses is SO FREAKING AWESOME!
Hartley Adkins, president and market manager of Clear Channel DC-Baltimore, wasn't spared any embarrassment this morning either. Elliot critiqued his Kapugi press release, which was purportedly riddled with errors..."Meg Stevens and myself."
Nevertheless, Adkins still has his belly button pierced (huh?) and Booger/Jeff/Bossaholic/Four Eyes leaves his post in two weeks.
UPDATE:
Tyler has posted Hartley Adkins' press release:
It is a pleasure when you get to work an (huh?)* extremely intelligent and talented individual that you also like as a person (huh?). Which (huh?) makes it even harder to say farewell, Jeff (huh?) has resigned from Clear Channel and will be chasing other dreams, just like the ones he accomplished in his 19 years with Clear Channel.Related: [Kapugi (a.k.a. Booger) Leaves DC101!]
I wish him the best of success both personally and professionally. His final day will be in August, details (huh?) still being finalized on that (huh?).
The search for his successor is in high gear. Meg Stevens and myself (huh?) will be the lead contacts on all programming functions that require attention outside of your department. Clay Hunnicutt our SVPP will also being (huh?) highly involved through this transition.
