Heidi Montag on EITM!

Last week Heidi Montag bailed on the interview EITM had previously scheduled, but that didn't stop them from having her on this morning...



I thought it would be fun to live-blog the interview... [AUDIO]

* * Heidi's new single, "Higher" plays in beginning * *
- She comes on the phone and sounds a bit muffled.
- Says it's "great" to talk to Elliot, not being sarcastic at all.
- She's happy with the response from the song AND video. (lol!)
- She said that she and Spencer spent a whole hour on the beach filming the video. (wow!)
- Wouldn't confirm whether she or Spencer were still an item and that they're taking it "one day at a time."
- She also got a new engagement ring because the previous one represented a bad time and she doesn't care that Spencer had to pay for a new one.
- They're not engaged and no date is set for anything.
- Eight new episodes and then a new season of The Hills are coming soon.
- Spencer is not only her manager, but he is her rock! (le sigh)
- Says she doesn't read the blogs and doesn't pay attention to criticism and has never encountered "awful fans." (clearly!)
- She tried to shy away from questions about Lauren Conrad by saying she hasn't seen or spoken to her.
- Says she hasn't gone-Hollywood because she's all about having fun. (like totally!)
- After having her boobs and nose done, Heidi says she's done with plastic surgery. She's not the only one who has had something done, but won't reveal who, by saying, "I'm not starting that war."

After only 6 minutes, 55 seconds, I can clearly say that that was one of the shortest interviews Elliot has ever done...just sayin'.
