Back in the summer, Elliot's old friend, Jeffrey "Desi" Deceder, former "Slapshot" for the Washington Capitals, appeared on Dr. Phil with his wife Jennifer.
If you're not familiar with their story, click here. Anyway, through the course of events, Desi ended up in jail and managed to make a collect call to Elliot and Diane.
For those of you wondering, Desi is now a free man and has actually appeared in-studio a couple of times since this interview.
