Shauna called Elliot about her cat who had been stuck in an eighty foot tree for several days. The only help Elliot really offered was this joke: Dogs don't climb trees...except Dogwoods! Hey-O!In November 2006, Elliot received a call from a guy named Carlos who said he didn't vote in the local elections that were held the day before. After his call, the conversation turned to illegal immigration when a woman accused Carlos of being a "dirty little Mexican." Turns out, the woman was an OR Nurse and even better, Carlos was too! His wife called to confirm that even though his name is Carlos, he's as white as they come! I guess he won't be voting after all...
Weird Al's visit to EITM on June 20, 2008 was replayed. It was a timely revisit to the interview since he played Pier Six in Baltimore on Friday night.
The infamous "toe-ing" story about Kenny Chesney's habitual trysts with female fans was revisited. The conversation turned into Elliot asking people if they had ever made out with anyone famous. Elliot revealed that he had made out with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lara Spencer from The Insider (all pre-Jacquie of course).Spike Mendelson from Top Chef appeared in-studio on June 6, 2008 to promote his new DC restaurant, Good Stuff Eatery, which is now open. During the original interview, Spike let the s-bomb slip, and Elliot quickly dumped the audio. This time around however, "shitty situation" was heard loud and clear! Way to go Flounder!
Lastly, who could forget August 15, 2007? The day Craig quit live on the air! It happened during a discussion about a Clear Channel employee who recently got the boot. When Craig refused to go get the guy (who was still in the building), Flounder started yelling at Craig for not doing his job, thus, resulting in Craig's exit. See ya!
