A frightening day for Elliot listeners in Central Virginia as apparent tornadoes touch down. The shopping mall in Colonial Heights saw considerable damage. Structural damage to businesses, cars tossed around, windows blown out, among other damage.
Suffolk was hardest hit with numerous homes destroyed. The hospital there reports some 60 people injured and one fatality.
