Wesley Sneijder Staying With The Nerazzurri
Soren Lerby, agent of Wesley Sneijder has told that his client will not move from Italian club Inter Milan this season. The runner-up member of this year's football World Cup was previously linked with two Manchester Clubs, City and United.
However, Lerby insists there is no reason to leave, and is fully confident his man will remain at the club.
Wesley Sneijder was even linked to Spanish giant Real Madrid as former Inter coach Jose Mourinho is now in charge of the Spanish side. However, Sneijder himself at one point during the summer seemed open to the idea of returning to Madrid but it is now can be said that he is staying with the Nerazzurri.
"This is one of those years in which everything is beautiful and perfect. It's difficult that Wesley will forget everything that has happened this year," the agent told Calcionews24.com.
"He has made history and everyone is happy for that. His future? That is with Inter, there are no doubts or problems about this."

Diego Maradona Resigns as Argentine Football Coach
Thus ends the role of Diego Maradona as coach for Argentine National Football Team. His contract was ended yesterday (27th July, 2010). This decision was taken by the country's soccer association, AFA, because Maradona wasn’t prepared to accept changes to his coaching staff.
The Argentine Football Association’s executive committee “unanimously resolved” not to renew the deal after AFA President Julio Grondona relayed details of his meeting with Maradona a day earlier, the governing body said in a statement.
Differences between Maradona and Grondona “were impossible to resolve,” association spokesman Ernesto Cherquis Bialo told reporters in Buenos Aires. Maradona, 49, said on Argentine television this week that he wouldn’t continue in the post he took in late 2008 if the association insisted on him changing his coaching staff.
Diego Maradona had led Argentina through some impressive performances during the World Cup 2010 before being demolished by Germany 0-4 in the quarter-finals.

Two English cricket fans claim that they were hit by meteorites when they were watching a county cricket match between Middlesex and Sussex in Uxbridge when it hurtled towards them. Jan Marszal, 51, and Richard Haynes, 52 were the two Sussex fans that claim such incident.
One piece struck Mr Marszal on the chest, while the other bounced on the boundary board. They described the rock landing five yards inside the boundary, before breaking in two, with one part bouncing up and striking Marszal on the chest.
Mr Marszal, an IT consultant, said: "'We were sitting at the boundary edge when all of a sudden, out of a blue sky, we saw this small dark object hurtling towards us.
"'It landed five yards inside the boundary and split into two pieces.
"One piece bounced up and hit me in the chest and the other ended up against the boundary board." (as reported by Uxbridgegazette.co.uk)
Meteorite expert Dr Matthew Genge said: "It would be the first fall in the UK since 1992."

Arsenal Now Pursuing Dutch Number 1 Maarten Stekelenburg
It has reported now that Arsenal will now go for Dutch number one Ajax’s Maarten Stekelenburg and not Austrlian international (Fulham goalkeeper) goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer. Arsenal were on trail to rope in Mark Schwarzer in the final weeks of the recently help World Cup 2010, but reports coming from UK suggest that Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger in now seeking the service of Holland's number one goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
Arsenal’s current first-choice stopper Manuel Almunia has fallen out of favour at Emirates Stadium and could be sold and the fact that Wenger does not have enormous faith in Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny indicates that a move for Stekelenburg could be on the cards.

This the year for St George?
Once again St George are sitting on top of the NRL ladder but the question remains how they will play in September during the finals. Last year they were in the same position and bowed out in straight sets. Will this year be any different?
The salary cap scandal that engulfed the Storm means they are out of the running. Otherwise they would be in fourth position and a serious contender for the title. Currently in second spot you have Penrith, behind them you have the Tigers, Manly and Roosters.
Interestingly enough each of those teams won the title in the past decade so they know what it takes in order to win won. The Broncos are always up there but currently they are in ninth spot. They are on 22 points which is level with South Sydney.
This past round there were some interesting results. Gold Coast defeated St George by a point in extra time. Melbourne defeated Penrith and Souths took out the Warriors in a high scoring game. Manly defeated the West Tigers in a spiteful encounter while the Broncos and Roosters are still to play.
Round 21 is going to throw up some more interesting matches. Parramatta host the Roosters in what should be a fierce match. What will be a huge game is the one which sees the Broncos host the Dragons. Over the years, the two have played some intense matches. Obviously Wayne Bennett coaching the Dragons gives the game an extra dimension. He was very successful at the Broncos and for a long time symbolized the team. He is now at the Dragons trying to bring them their first title in over 30 years.
He is already a huge legend of the game but should Bennett be responsible for breaking the drought for the most famous club in the competition, he will be the greatest of all time. At the moment, there is a lot of betting action on the Dragons but on the other hand, people are wary of them collapsing in the finals.
Adding more to the Dragons and Broncos rivalry is the two grand finals they played in consecutive years in the early 1990s. The Dragons just weren’t able to get over the line and continued their years without anything to show for it. Also you have players who have played for both clubs such as Gorden Tallis and Wendell Sailor.

MLS Kansas City Wizards Stuns EPL Manchester United 2-1
Kansas City Wizards 2 v/s Manchester United 1
Kansas City Wizards's Sunil Chhetri against Johhny Evans of Manchester United
Kei Kamara's Winning (2nd goal for KCW)
Wow!..Kansas City Wizards has made their fans proud. Two goal from Davy Arnaud and Kamara helped them to stun EPL Manchester United 2-1, and that too playing with 10-men for 50 minutes. In the 40th minute of the game KCW's Jimmy Conard was shown the red card and so the MLS team was reduced to 10 men. Jimmy Conrad was shown a red card after his sliding tackle on Dimitar Berbatov in the penalty box. Dimitar Berbatov scored from the spot kick in the 40th-minute for MU, while Davy Arnaud scored in 11th minute and Kamara scored 2 minutes from the breather.
India's Sunil Chhetri was called upon by KCW's coach Peter Vermes in the final 20-minutes of the game. But, one can imagine the role of a striker when his team is down to 10 men. But nevetheless, Sunil kept MU defenders on their toes and kept them busy with his opportunistic solo runs.
A reported crowd of 52,424 turned out on Sunday to watch the Kansas City Wizards defeat Manchester United at Arrowhead Stadium.
Sunil Chhetri...we as Indians are proud of you. You have made your country and club proud. Good Luck with MLS future.
