Well that lasted about 6 months...Doug "Greaseman" Tracht is gone from his Saturday morning slot at DC101. Sources tell DCRTV that the Clear Channel rocker is headed in a "music intensive" direction on the weekends...without Grease's comic bits.
After rumors swarmed two weeks ago that Grease had died, he spoke with Elliot on-air to let everyone know that he was alive and well. The "tribute video" has since been removed from YouTube.
Instead of another public canning by the same station (DC101) twice, he should have just let "rumor meer" chirn...
Nevertheless, branch doodadians can now catch the Greaseman weekday afternoons from 3-7pm on Rock 105 in Jacksonville, FL.
