David Beckham Turns to Mystical Hippy Beads for Better Sex Skills

David BeckhamLA Galaxy and England star David Beckham has started wearing mystical hippy beads to pep up his sex life.

The England midfield ace, 33, has turned to oddball gems and crystals to score more in the bedroom with wife Victoria, 34.

"David's a happy bunny,” the Daily Star quoted a pal, as saying.

"The gems were bought as a bit of a laugh but David and Victoria have certainly been smiling a lot since," the pal added.

Becks has even started his own fashion style. He was pictured wearing a necklace during the opening of Gordon Ramsay’s new restaurant in LA – on his wrist.

The jewellery, made by US firm Energy Muse, comes with a scroll promising the wearer will have better sex, health and work success ... if they chant every day.

Best Of...9/2 Recap!

Peter and David, the two guys behind Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius" ads appeared in-studio with Elliot and The Class back in 2005. They were in town promoting the launch of the new Bud Light blue bottles. At that time, the guys had performed 140 spots and even wrote one inspired by EITM.

"But Light presents a real show of Genius. Today we salute you DC101's Elliot In The Morning..."

Ray McNealy of Germantown mooned his neighbor Nanette Vonfeldt and her 8-year-old daughter. The incident landed Ray in court where a judge found him guilty of indecent exposure. Later, a second judge reversed the decision ruling that mooning someone in Maryland is not illegal. The two neighbors aired their dirty laundry over the airwaves with Elliot back in 2006.

Stephanie called Elliot saying she had been served with a restraining order by a male classmate at Montgomery College. It all started when the guy called her one day screaming and yelling at her. She told him she would punch his teeth down his throat if he didn't quit yelling...

The guy eventually called Elliot saying he was fearful of Stephanie and that he is much shorter than she is. Both were headed to court the following Monday and Elliot asked them to call back after court. Unfortunately, the follow-up wasn't played in Best Of, but I remember the call...the case was dismissed.

And finally, Tyler got engaged back while on vacation in Punta Cana, a resort area in the Dominican Republic back in July...

The couple is planning a Summer 2009 wedding.

Manchester City Signs Robinho, Manchester United Signs Berbatov

RobinhoManchester City signed Brazil forward Robinho for what reports said was a British record fee after Thaksin Shinawatra agreed to sell the Premier League soccer team to an Abu Dhabi investment company on transfer deadline day.

Robinho, 24, joined on a four-year contract, City said on its Web site without disclosing the fee, a day after he held a press conference stating his desire to join Chelsea. City paid Real Madrid 42 million euros ($61.2 million) for Robinho, who will receive 6 million euros a year after tax, Sky Sports said.

``In order to compete with the best teams in the Premier League we have to be in the market for players of this caliber, and Robinho is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world,'' City manager Mark Hughes told his club's Web site.
Berbatov for Manchester United
City's prospective owners -- Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment -- fulfilled their promise of purchasing a ``high profile'' player minutes before the trade period closed yesterday at midnight London time. City had earlier agreed to a fee for Dimitar Berbatov before the Tottenham striker instead joined cross-town rival Manchester United.

The Premier League champion will pay 30.75 million pounds ($55 million) for Berbatov, Tottenham said on its Web site.

William Sisters Sets For US Open Quarterfinal Clash

Serena Williams will face sister Venus Williams at the US Open quarterfinals after she brought down Severine Bremond's run to a halt with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.

Serena and Venus have met 16 times previously with both winning eight matches, but this will be the first time they have met in the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam tournament.

Venus Williams, who eliminated Polish Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 6-3 on Monday, said life on the court would be easier if she didn't have a superstar sister.

In the other women's fourth-round matches Monday, Russian sixth seed Dinara Safina beat Anna-Lena Groenefeld 7-5, 6-0 and Flavia Pennetta of Italy trounced France's Amelie Mauresmo 6-3, 6-0.

Wednesday's US Open quarterfinal match will be a repeat of this year's Wimbledon final, which Venus won 7-5, 6-4.
